4th Gen Tacoma With Lil B’s Fabrication Bumper, Fox 3.0 Suspension, 35″ Tires & Diode Dynamics Lighting
This 2024+ Tacoma came into our Colorado Off-Road shop for a full front end, suspension, wheels and tires, and lighting upgrade.
The goal was to build a clean, functional setup that improves ride quality, supports added weight, and delivers a solid stance with properly integrated lighting and recovery.
Everything on this build was completed in-house at Mountain Yotas, from suspension install and alignment to wiring, bumper install, and mount and balance.
Lil B’s Fabrication Hybrid Bumper Install
Up front, we installed a Lil B’s Fabrication hybrid bumper designed specifically for the 2024+ Tacoma platform.
This style of bumper keeps a lower profile compared to full plate options while still providing added protection and recovery capability.
The bumper was powder coated prior to install for durability and long term protection against the elements, especially important for Colorado driving conditions.
Warn VR Evo 10-S Winch Integration
For recovery, this Tacoma is equipped with a Warn VR Evo 10-S winch. This is a solid, reliable option that fits cleanly within the hybrid bumper while maintaining good airflow and front end clearance.
With the winch integrated into the bumper, the truck is ready for self recovery when needed without sacrificing daily drivability.
Diode Dynamics Lighting Setup (SS5 + SS3)
Lighting on this build was upgraded to a Diode Dynamics SS5 and SS3 combo for both output and usable street legal performance.
- SS5 Pro LED pods (pair) with combo beam pattern
- SS3 Pro LED pods (pair) with SAE fog beam (yellow)
- Amber backlight on both SS5 and SS3 pods
- Heavy duty dual output wiring harnesses
This setup provides strong forward visibility while keeping proper fog performance for daily driving conditions.
D-Switch 8 Channel Control System
To manage accessories, we installed the Diode Dynamics D-Switch 8-channel switch panel. This allows for clean control of lighting and future accessories without cluttering the cab.
It also makes it easy to expand the system as more components are added later.
Fox 3.0 Suspension & Dirt King Upper Control Arms
We installed a full Fox 3.0 Factory Race Series suspension system paired with Dirt King 4130 upper control arms.
This setup delivers increased damping control, improved travel, and better overall performance both on road and off road.
The upgraded UCAs allow for proper alignment and geometry at increased ride height, keeping the truck driving straight and predictable.
Rear Coil Swap for Load Support
To balance the added weight from the bumper and winch, we installed Dobinson rear coil springs.
This helps maintain proper ride height, reduces rear sag, and keeps the truck level under load while improving overall ride quality.
Method 709 Wheels & 35″ Kenda Klever R/T Tires
This Tacoma is running Method 709 HD Bead Grip wheels in a 17X8.5, 0mm offset configuration.
Paired with Kenda Klever R/T tires in a 35X12.5R17 load range E, this setup provides a strong stance, solid traction, and durability for Colorado terrain.
We also installed Method forged impact rings and completed full mount and balance in house to ensure everything runs smooth on and off the road.
Complete Build, Installed In House
This Tacoma left the shop with a fully integrated suspension, bumper, lighting, and wheel and tire setup.
Everything was installed, wired, aligned, and dialed in at Mountain Yotas, giving the truck a balanced, capable setup ready for daily driving and off roading across Colorado.
