2026 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road Wheel and Tire Setup at Mountain Yotas
Corey brought his 2026 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road into Mountain Yotas in Wheat Ridge for a clean wheel and tire upgrade on top of the factory TRD 2.5″ lift.
For Tacoma owners looking for wheel and tire installation in Denver or the surrounding Colorado area, this is a good example of how we approach a simple build.
Method 709 HD Bead Grip Wheels

This Tacoma was fitted with Method 709 HD Bead Grip wheels in Matte Black, sized 17X8.5 with a +25mm offset, 6X5.5 bolt pattern, and 106.25 centerbore.
It’s a great wheel choice for a 4th Gen Tacoma because it offers a clean fit, strong construction, and the added benefit of Method’s Bead Grip technology for better tire retention when running lower air pressure off road.
Gorilla black lug nuts with splined key were used to finish off the setup and keep the hardware clean and secure. On a black wheel like the 709, the black lug package ties everything together well without standing out too much.
Falken Wildpeak A/T4W Tires in 35X12.5R17

For tires, Corey went with Falken Wildpeak A/T4W in 35X12.5R17.
This size works well on the 2026 Tacoma when paired with the factory TRD lift, and the wider 12.5 option gives the truck a better stance while also stepping up to a load range E casing.
The A/T4W is a strong option for Colorado Tacoma owners who split time between highway driving, mountain weather, and dirt roads.
It offers solid all-terrain traction, strong sidewall construction, and a tread pattern that works well in snow, gravel, and mixed off-road conditions without giving up too much road comfort.
Just a proven tire all the way around.
Wheel/Tire Mount & Balance in Denver Colorado

Once the wheels and tires were selected, the next step was proper mount and balance.
We take the time to make sure the package is assembled correctly, balanced properly, and checked before the truck heads back out on the road. For Denver area Toyota owners, that is a big part of getting a setup that feels right from day one.
4th Gen Tacoma 35″ AT Fitment

35″ tires fit the 4th Gen Tacoma really well, especially on trucks with the factory TRD lift or a mild suspension setup. The platform has enough room from the factory that a 35X12.5R17 clears clean with the right wheel specs and alignment, without needing to overcomplicate things.
