Elijah’s 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro: Magnuson Supercharger + Bilstein Suspension Build
What makes for a killer Tundy build?
How about a Magnuson blower paired with one of the most tried and true suspension setups on the market… the Bilstein 5160/6112s.
Elijah’s 2G Tundy is a well-rounded rig that’s just as happy on a Monday commute as it is on a weekend trail.
Let’s jump into the full breakdown.
Magnuson Supercharger Install Shop Colorado

The Magnuson TVS2650 is the go-to forced induction solution for the 5.7L iForce. It bolts directly to the factory intake manifold, delivers power across the entire RPM range, and typically adds 140 to 170 horsepower at the wheels on a stock motor. The same TVS rotor technology GM uses in their factory supercharged engines.
The install runs 12 hours and includes full gasket replacement, injector seals, coolant crossover gaskets, and a complete coolant refresh on both the engine and intercooler circuit.
If you’re looking for a Magnuson supercharger install shop in Colorado, we’ve done this job and we’ve done it right.
Why Install a Supercharger at Colorado Elevation?

Denver sits at 5,280 feet.
Mountain passes push 11,000 and beyond. Thin air means less oxygen, less combustion, less power. A stock 5.7L Tundy that makes 381hp at sea level might be down 30 to 50 horsepower by the time you hit elevation.
A supercharger forces compressed air into the intake regardless of altitude. You get the power loss back and then some. For Colorado Tundra owners, it’s not just a fun mod; it genuinely fixes a real problem every time you head into the mountains.
Bilstein 5160 / 6112 Suspension Install

Bilstein B8 6112 front coilovers with up to 2.5 inches of adjustable lift, Bilstein B8 5160 remote reservoir rears, Dobinson 330lb replacement leaf springs, LSK upper control arms, greaseable shackle kits, U-bolt kits, and fresh KYB strut mounts. Topped off with a full 4×4 alignment after the install.
The LSK UCAs are non-negotiable on a lifted 2G Tundra. Factory arms run out of travel fast and kill your geometry. The aftermarket UCAs fix that, preserve full suspension travel, and correct caster.

Is the Bilstein 5160 / 6112 the Best All-Around Affordable Shock Package?

For most 2G Tundra owners, yes. When it comes to affordability, nothing competes with the 6112s.
Adjustable lift up front, remote reservoir damping out back, quality monotube construction throughout; all at a price point that doesn’t require selling a kidney.
It’s not a race shock. But for a daily that also hits dirt roads, tows on weekends, and needs to handle Colorado terrain year-round, nothing touches the 5160/6112 combo at this price range.
K&N Intake

Not on this invoice, but worth mentioning. The Magnuson moves a lot more air than a stock motor. The factory airbox wasn’t designed for that demand and becomes a restriction point fast. A K&N intake opens up that flow, feeds the blower cooler denser air, and adds a satisfying intake note to go with the supercharger whine. An intake is the first supporting mod we’d recommend on any forced induction Tundy build.
C4 Fabrication Front Overland Bumper

Clean USA-made steel, integrated light bar and fog mounts, and an approach angle that actually means something on the trail. Fits the TRD Pro hood line as it belongs there.
If you want overland armor on your Tundra or Tacoma, C4 Fab is hard to beat.
Build Stance

6112 fronts dialed to around 1.5 to 2 inches, Dobinson leafs picking up roughly an inch in the rear.
Leveled out, fenders filled, factory rake gone. Black on black on black: paint, wheels, bumper, trim. It looks purposeful because it is.
