Late Model Off-Road Toyota Specialty Shop in Colorado
This 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium came through Mountain Yotas for a clean, functional upgrade focused on suspension, armor, and a solid wheel and tire package.
The goal for this build was simple: improve ride quality, add protection underneath, and give the new 6G 4Runner a better stance for daily driving and off roading around Colorado.
This build focused on improving capability without sacrificing daily drivability.
Radflo 2.5″ Coilovers & Dirt King UCAs
The front suspension was upgraded with Radflo 2.5 inch reservoir coilovers designed specifically for the new 6th Gen 4Runner platform as part of our suspension install services. These shocks provide improved damping, better heat control, and a more controlled ride compared to factory components.
Dirt King ball joint upper control arms were installed to correct front suspension geometry and allow proper alignment with the added lift. These UCAs also improve articulation and durability compared to factory UCAs.
Radflo Rear Shocks, Dobinson Coils & Timbren Bumps
Out back, the truck runs Radflo 2.5 inch reservoir shocks paired with Dobinson rear coil springs. This setup helps balance the truck front to rear while improving ride quality when the truck is loaded with gear or driven on rough terrain.
The rear suspension was also upgraded with Timbren active off road bump stops. These progressive bump stops help control suspension compression during hard hits and improve stability when the suspension cycles through its full range of motion.
RCI Rock Sliders & Skids
RCI rock sliders were added to protect the rocker panels and lower body when the truck is taken off pavement. Sliders are one of the most important upgrades for any 4Runner that will see rocks or uneven terrain.
Underneath the truck, an RCI steel skid plate package was installed in black powder coat through our 4×4 armor and overland armor services.
These skid plates protect critical components like the engine, transmission, and transfer case from impacts while wheeling.
KMC KM545 Trek Matte Bronze Wheels with Black Lip
This 4Runner runs KMC KM545 Trek Matte Bronze Wheels with Black Lip. KMCs are known for their strength and reliability, making them a great match for a vehicle that will see dirt roads, mountain passes, and rocky terrain.
Falken Wildpeak AT4W Tires
The wheel package is wrapped in Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires in 285/70R17, mounted and balanced through our wheels and tires services.
This tire size works extremely well on the new 4Runner platform and provides excellent traction in dirt, snow, and mixed terrain while still maintaining good road manners.
Super Clean Everest 6G4R Build
This build is a great example of a balanced upgrade path for the 2025 plus Toyota 4Runner. Instead of focusing on extreme lift or oversized components, the truck was built around suspension performance, protection, and a proven wheel and tire combination. The result is a 4Runner that drives better on the street and performs far better when off roading in Colorado.
